about

Tyrone releases the “Red Hot Remix”, by Jahdan Blakkamore; a stellar single off of his Babylon's Nighmare album. The song talks about the ills of growing up in the ghetto and how poverty affects children. The song begins with; “you can make a difference if you’re willing, sending you a message from the children”, and the line alone sets the tone for the subject matter and message. The bass line moves the vocals over the drum, while organs and ambient sweeps prepare the listener for the hook; “Its Red Hot, down in the ghetto they don't have food for pots”. Tyrone and Jahdan's verse explains the urgency of the circumstance of people whose lives have been scarred by poverty in the ghetto.
